The Fabregas era starts tonight. It’s time to back the team.
CESC Fabregas’ Arsenal. That sounds a little better, doesn’t it?
Of course he’s a risk, but which Arsenal captain of the last 20 years has not been? You had powder-keg Patrick Vieira and his regular flirtations with abroad, moody Thierry Henry and his regular flirtations with abroad, slightly mad Chelsea recruit William Gallas and 21 year-old developing alcoholic Tony Adams.
To the best of my knowledge, Cesc does not get sent-off twice a season, did not play for Chelsea, is not mad and does not have a drink problem.
Nor have flirtations with foreign suitors yet been anything like as amorous as those of his predecessors.
Add to that the fact he is genuinely world class, is in his sixth year at Arsenal, is intelligent, articulate and plays with passion and you have someone who really does tick all the right boxes. His recent form has been poor, but to borrow that horrible but very true cliché, form is temporary and class is permanent.
Cesc may leave one day, but he can stay here three or four years and still be only 24 or 25. That’s not old. He will remember how quickly things can change as well. Right now it feels like we’re back to where we were when Gallas took the armband 14 short months ago.
Seven months ago we were heading for the stars.
I initially plumped for a Clichy captaincy, but the more I think about it the more right this feels.
So what of Gallas?
It was, frankly, a witch hunt from some quarters.
By that I mean every possible opportunity to jump on Gallas was taken up with relish by critics who steadfastly ignored anything positive. Even when they had no choice but to acknowledge a good performance against United, the footage of him instructing Walcott was twisted to suggest it was some kind of one off.
St Andrews wasn’t clever, but just because the pictures were dramatic it doesn’t make true the implication put across that it was the primary reason for last season’s failure. Equally, Gallas has played his part in this season’s defeats. But to believe they would not have happened without him is wishful thinking.
Most insane is the idea he should have lost the captaincy in February.
Imagine it. An away draw, one defeat all season, three points clear with 11 to play and you change your captain because he reacted over emotionally on a very emotional day? For all the flack Gallas took at the time, I can’t remember anyone saying he should actually be stripped of the armband there and then. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Whether he should have lost the armband in the summer is a far, far fairer question.
But going back to the blame Gallas’ shouldered, can you remember a single instance in the written or broadcast media where Kolo Toure’s fairly obvious decline in form has been cited for things not going particularly well? I can’t.
Every time there was a chance to paint Gallas as adrift from his team-mates, the opportunity was leapt upon. Footage such as this and the way a fair few players went out of their way to congratulate their captain after a meaningless goal against Twente painted a less obvious picture.
No doubt there were tensions, but the black and white idea of Gallas being either liked or hated by his team-mates is an easy conclusion to draw. As a club, Arsenal are renowned for keeping things very much in-house. The vast majority of what goes on behind closed doors staying behind closed doors and much of what does come out is stuff they are very happy for people to know.
Witness how no UK national media outlet broke news of the Gallas decision on their web-sites on Friday. It was only after agencies picked up a francefootball post that they got a sniff of what a couple of blogs were already reporting.
And where were all those inside scoops detailing the furious half-time bust-up before Gallas opened his mouth? Nowhere.
It’s the way Arsenal and Arsene in particular do things.
It means we have to sit through post-match analysis which taken seriously would constitute an insult to our intelligence, but I can live with that.
So what kind of reception can Gallas expect tonight? A decent one I suspect. For those of you who don’t get to games, a fair gulf has existed between the carping in the media and on the blogs and what the fans at the games appear to think of our now former captain.
Apropos of nothing in particular, this is what I said about Gallas’ appointment as captain:
On Gallas’ appointment, I’m hardly cartwheeling.
But equally, it’s worth remembering Arsene probably sees most (if not all) we see of Gallas and a hell of a lot more too. He also knows the side better than any of us. But still, for a man who has previously spoken of the importance of tradition at a club such as Arsenal, Gallas wearing the armband hardly strikes you as an obvious step.
I well understand why some people will be far less happy than me with the choice. But I still say everyone has to give it a chance. If it fails, then complain.
If he can now fight his way back and be a positive influence, I for one won’t be complaining. In different circumstances his outburst would have caused far less excitement. He was not the right captain (in hindsight could any player less than a year out of Chelsea ever be?), but I just feel his mistakes have been misadventure more than anything malicious.
The club yesterday wheeled out senior pro (!) Gael Clichy for the obligatory pre Champions League presser in a decent bit of PR. You have to love the Clich. He said all the right things: praising Cesc, admitting Gallas made a mistake but paying proper tribute to him.
The word “sensational” was, a bit like one or two of Gael’s more enthusiastic challenges, pushing the boundaries a little, but we can let him off that one.
Tonight is a biggy. You sense that if we are to qualify, tonight might well have to be that night. In particular, it’s a big one for the defence. A 0-0 draw will see us through, while a 1-1 would leave us needing to avoid disaster in the final round of games to qualify by my maths. A Porto loss in Turkey would be handy too.
The team will be something extraordinary frankly. We’re without our first five wide players (Rosicky, Nasri, Walcott, Eboue and Diaby) and our first three right-backs (Eboue again, Sagna and Toure). Two of our top three strikers are also out.
Could we possibly see Djourou right-back, Song and Gallas in the centre and Silvestre left-back, with Clichy left midfield? Or will Song, Denilson and Cesc be strung across the middle? I don’t know.
Come on you Gunners!

25 November 2008 at 10:38 am
My guess for the lineup tonight:
Almunia
Djourou Silvestre Gallas Clichy
Ramsey Song Cesc Denilson
RVP Bendtner
Although I would much rather have Ramsey at central midfield, Denilson at right wing and Wilshere on the left and Vela in for Bendtner up front. Can’t see that happening though.

Excellent blog goodplaya. Cesc Fabregas’s Arsenal just sounds right.
On Gallas, i’m sure there will be a few that look to get on his back but i hope i am in the majority of getting behind him. You are spot on when citing the players celebrating that goal against FC Twente, he has never seemed to lack popularity even if he wasn’t captain fantastic. As far as we know the only person he has had issues with is RVP and he isn’t the first and certainly won’t be last on that front!! I have a funny feeling we might now see the best of William Gallas and that would certainly be a good thing.
Everyone going to the game tonight, let’s get right behind the team, every player and get Cesc Fabregas’s Arsenal off to a winning start.
25 November 2008 at 11:21 am
Nice post GoodPlaya. I do agree that the media went overboard when discussing Gallas’ captaincy, especially the Birmingham incident. Maybe the reality of Gallas’ standing in the dressing room is somewhere between the “Capi” that he portrayed and the “Crappy” that the media led us to believe.
I’m not sure if playing him today, this early after what turned out to be an ugly incident, is the best idea. But, maybe the lifting of pressure will allow Gallas to blossom. We’ll have to wait and see.
25 November 2008 at 11:38 am
Nice blog. Personally, the smoking is when I finally gave up on Gallas as captain. I hope he bounces back, but as an armchair viewer, me cheering him on won’t have much of an effect.
I’m saying:
Almunia (should be dropped though)
Djorou Gallas Silvestre Clichy
Denilson Song Cesc (c!) Merida (only because Young Guns were right about G Hoyte at the weekend)
RVP Vela
25 November 2008 at 11:52 am
Young Guns say it is not confirmed… though I suspect their info is kosher.
25 November 2008 at 2:06 pm
Your article is wrong on so many levels it’s funny. I remember being on many football fan forums at the time of last season’s Birmingham game, and most Arsenal fans were for the changing of Gallas as captain. Even top of the league at that stage, your captain refusing to play on and defend a penalty was unacceptable, and it showed to the other teams that we still were at the core a soft touch.
Also I feel your comment on Toure’s form dropping not being in the media is tosh. Hardly surprising as Toure has been in and out of the team all season (not helping his confidence) so of course the media wouldn’t notice his poor showings if they are as inconsistent as his appearances.
More to the point, Gallas is still a disgrace to this football club and his breaching of trust of teammates (spilling secrets of behind closed doors events) is unforgivable. He is Chelsea at heart and still does things their way. The last time we had a player like this we sold him to Chelsea. Pity for us we got this French clown in return.
Senderos & Toure could and should have been the foundation of this team, but Wenger lost faith in his rightful number 5 & 6 combination when he should have made them the core. Instead he tries to play 2 French/African sweeping CBs together who are both pansies at attacking the ball and afraid of sturdy challenges
At the end of the day it’s Wenger’s mess and he’ll have to clean it up to save any form of silverware this season. The disruptive influence of Gallas being sold to bring in a Eastern European looking bruiser (a la Vidic Skrtel Agger Terry Senderos) who plays the aggressive CB in January would be the second step forward.
25 November 2008 at 2:37 pm
I’d have to disagree - people were unhappy but very few people were saying he should lose the captaincy there and then.
Toure’s poor form goes back a while further than the arrival of Silvestre.
Not that I have anything against Senderos, but I hardly remember him attacking the ball at Anfield in April. But don’t let that stop you.
25 November 2008 at 2:43 pm
Goodplaya, I think most criticism directed at Gallas is quite fair.
The 2 major incidents, tantrum at St Andrews and the latest outburst are not befitting of anyone with the slightest level of moral decency and intellectual capacity, let alone captain of Arsenal.
Seriously, you have to think back to primary school to remember someone chucking a tantrum after they lose, or bad mouthing their friends in public.
In his captaincy, he attempts to motivate players with vacuous speeches and platitudes.
I would say Gallas is not merely a bit crazy, but also a moron.
25 November 2008 at 2:49 pm
maybe there was a witch hunt, but that doesn’t mean gallas isnt a complete cunt
25 November 2008 at 3:39 pm
Al,
Moral decency? Last time checked he hadn’t killed anyone. Yes he made some mistakes that are not befitting of an Arsenal captain but it is clear that nothing he had done has been malicious, if he is guilty of anything, it is not caring too much and not being able to control his emotions in an rational way.
But he has never walked around high-fiving team mates believing a game has over, he has never got needlessly sent off and then remained silent throughout his entire suspension, he has never dragged contract negotiations through the press, he has never head butted a team mate…..
25 November 2008 at 3:50 pm
Well said TopGunPires.
25 November 2008 at 4:02 pm
Singling out Seneros’ performance at Anfield that night shows you are narrow sighted in your opinion and views. Was it not the same player who contributed and was immense in setting a new CL record for consecutive clean sheets.
And that night at Anfield if I remember correctly, if some other players of the Arsenal team had the sense to foul Babel outside the box before he ran in and cheated the penalty, we would have been in the semifinal.
As Al has said, Gallas is an absolute disgrace to the club. The fact he’s our best defender is unfortunate and shows how weak our central defensive options has become.
Suddenly the claims from Chelsea last year that Gallas said he would score an own goal if he didn’t get his move away doesn’t seem so far fetched anymore…. Media hype and lies it may be but I wouldn’t put it past him. He is a child of a player and has an ego that’s bigger than his talent

25 November 2008 at 4:27 pm
Davec,
Would you consider drink-driving and spending time behind bars whislt club captain a disgrace to the club?? People make mistakes all the time. YES he screwed up, made some bad decisions (which he has acknowledged) but strip away the Sky Sports News hype and that is all it is.
He still has the support of his team mates if Clichy’s words are to be believed (and I would believe Clichy over anything that comes out of the Chavski dressing room), he still has the support of the manager, and when on his game he is without doubt our best defender. Personally i think he will be relieved that his spell as captain as over and we might actually see a better player as a result of that.
25 November 2008 at 4:45 pm
Yes Adams made mistakes aswell, but he was man enough to admit them and work towards becoming a better player and captain. All we get from Gallas is moans and bad attitude.
I personally don’t rate Gallas at all as a defender, apart from the few titles at Chelsea (where Terry & Carvalho did all the work at the back), how successful is he?
Every French team he has played in has leaked goals like tapwater and failed to win anything. Same with his Arsenal career so far.
Whatever your opinion on Gallas, it’s clear that any combination of central defenders we currently have at the club are not good enough and will win nothing without bringing in an aforementioned high ball / first-ball attacker.
If Kiev had any sense tonight they’d lump swinging high balls into the box from all angles. Luckily they will probably try to play it to feet on the floor and we’ll beat them.
Come January bring Senderos back, buy Flamini back and a new keeper and we’ll win everything!
A back line of Sagna-Toure-Senderos-Clichy would be nice nice nice…
25 November 2008 at 5:01 pm
It seems to me that there’s some revisionist history going on with Senderos. Sure, we could use better balance back there, but I seem to remember Senderos getting exposed whenever he came up against a quality offensive player. I’m not saying what we have is the answer, but I’m not going to convince myself that the return of Senderos is going to do the trick.
And anyway, we have lots of games to play between now and the opening of the transfer window, so we need to go with the guys who give us the best chance to win now, otherwise we could be in some serious trouble. More so than we are now.
25 November 2008 at 5:23 pm
look -the point is, even for the footballer’s low standards, Gallas’s behavior was as disgraceful as anything I’ve seen.
Whether or not he is good player is irrelevant. Anyway most of the criticism wasn’t about his football.
25 November 2008 at 5:27 pm
It’s not narrow sighted to point to Senderos at Anfield. There were countless other incidents too. I don’t deny he was great in the 05-06 run, but let’s be honest, he wasn’t last season. He is now 23 and is no longer a complete novice.
25 November 2008 at 5:33 pm
Fair enough. Personally i’d put head butting team mates or deliberately hurting an opponent i.e Roy Keane on Inge Haaland as far worse than anything Gallas has done.
25 November 2008 at 6:35 pm
Although Torres turned Senderos at Anfield, it was basically because Toure ducked instead of heading the ball away that it even reached Torres. Toure commited the foul on Babel and let Gerrard waltz past him at the Emirates.
Last season in the forums - someone actually found some stats showing that our best run of defensive solidity came when Senderos was playing. I’ll post the link if I find it.
The problem with Senderos is, that when you play the game of the aggressive defender you’re bound to turned around at least a couple of times per game - and this happens to Laursen, Vidic, Terry etc.. as well each game they play - enter either Gallas or Toure ( Clichy & Sagna as well) to sweep up what gets past him. Senderos all of a sudden became everyones least favourite player - probably due to some lousy Sky Sports pundits, who nobody here likes anyway - and took an excessive and undeserved amount of stick for playing the “aggressive type” defender. Dubbing him clumsy, when he did exactly what was expected of him by the manager - and did it well.
Besides your point on Senderos I completely agree with you Goodplaya, and currently Gallas is our best defender, he just shouldnt partner Toure.
25 November 2008 at 7:07 pm
As someone quite rightly pointed out above Gallas ain’t the smartest. He’s also selfish and struggles to keep the toys in the pram. This alone disqualifies him from leading a largely inexperienced team full of youngsters who need wisdom, guidance and in some cases the occasional slap (metaphorically speaking) to help them gel. Add to that the fact that he clearly doesn’t have any humility or sense of honour about playing for a famous club with a great history and it’s quite simple. He can fuck off. Certainly as captain, ideally altogether. And yes, he should have gone after Birmingham - but with a title challenge still very much alive, albeit beginning to falter, AW played it safe (we would have done the same). Sadly there’s no title challenge to worry about now so let’s have him gone in five weeks time. Wenger gambled that the responsibility of captaincy would help Gallas grow up and become a leader. It didn’t - if anything he’s cracked up. So AW got it wrong and now he’s got it right and chosen the captain we need. Simple as. Cesc will return to Barca one day. Hopefully not next summer, but at some point. In the meantime let’s enjoy watching him grow still greater in the Arsenal pantheon and make his mark on the Club’s history - a history he values and is proud to be a part of. And please Mr Wenger, as someone posted above, please assemble a bigger and more versatile squad. No more quibbling about the likes of Senderos. Let us have three to four players with strength of character as well as talent who can bring the best out of the undoubted talent we already boast. This crisis isn’t really a crisis, and this team can still go places - but not without reinforcements and not with Gallas.
knew he should made the
and that this, together with his undoubted quality as a player plus, would make him
25 November 2008 at 7:42 pm
i personally must change my mind.cesc was a very good choice as captain.now lets wait and hope arsenal play a good game tonight or its back to those questions whether arsene has the right to manage arsenal
25 November 2008 at 7:54 pm
davec i must disagree.i remember the day clearly when gallas left chelsea.it was said in sky sports that gallas and terry had a better defensive record than carvalho and terry.so i must say it wasnt terry and carvalho doing all the work
25 November 2008 at 7:57 pm
and what the hell is with all this sendrous talk that he should come back to arsenal.jeez he was one of arsenals most inconsistant defenders.besides most of you so called loyal fans were jubilating when he left.
25 November 2008 at 7:59 pm
your wish for him is utterly hopeless.
25 November 2008 at 10:58 pm
that was a long fought battle by arsenal.well done to the team
25 November 2008 at 11:15 pm
Denilson & Song in the middle were saved by the huge huge huge efforts of Cesc + Vela.
Fuckin losin possession all over the shop. U guys are supposedly skilled enuff to be hustling bustling holdin midfielders.
Denilson…smoke some weed or something get some pace. Everytime u 2 give away the ball, kiev played some gd distribution and our dodgy backs are so intuned with “lets not give away any freekicks outside the box” and let the kiev fellas in and taking shots, and there were 2..one each half motherfuckin glaring mistakes. Heng covered ok by almunia.
I really really dun like Song in the middle. Lazy Movement..and no committment to tackle….clumsy and makes himeself look stoopid. Get me Fuckin Essien or something. We are very lucky this weak link is not clinically exploited today. Denilson was struggling to get free on left flank…and this song stands somewhere watchin Deni tryin to get the ball off.. Fella jus stands there barely a metre away and he din bother to stick a leg in to drive the ball away or something. WTF
Van Persie…gd old “i must cut to my left then can shoot” syndrome is fuckin annoying…
Vela given the start was by far the most positonally aware one in attacking. He looks up b4 makin any decisions unlike Denilson.
In the 2nd half..did u see him try tt same run down the right flank and end up runnin into the marker and fallin on the floor fuckin tamely…
Gallas….gr8 defendin in Kiev’s BOX….thanx..thanx
And thank Nicky..for having a gd touch for once after so many games. U really need to get some pace in. But for now TY again.
Thank You CESC Thank You Jackster Thank You Rambo Thank You Vela Thank You JD and Mr Recovery Clichy.
These are brains, heart and stars of arsenal.
25 November 2008 at 11:20 pm
pete you are such a moron.first arsenal try so hard to score a goal against a very tough kiev defence and you have the indecency to crtitize the players.go fucking support another team you ungrateful piece of shit.dont even talk again go fuck yourself.
26 November 2008 at 12:03 am
Good post ‘playa. Any chance you can ban under 18’s and text speak from the site?? Seriously annoying
26 November 2008 at 9:46 am
typical home fans though.too boo a 20 yr old player like that is nothing short of a disgrace.you never see teams like manure or chelski booing the less than proflic players they have(and they prob have more reason give the ££££ they paid for em!)
the home fans need to stick to not being drowned out by the away fans , which i have witnessed a number of times this year, and get behind the team.
slowly turning into man utds prawn sandwich brigade.
maybe its time arsenal done a chelski and put flags on every home seat, or go one further and stick scarves, drums , airhorns, fireworks etc!!!!fucking give that place a jolt!
no more library!!!!!!!!!
26 November 2008 at 9:26 pm
Yup, Gallas is def a Chelsea spy…. great block on the line from van Persie of all people
I believe those weren’t boos directed at Bendtner’s appearance, more they were chants of “Ooooohs” at his shiny flashy magpie attracting boots

[...] Talking of Kolo, Jamie Redknapp broached the complete lack of attention paid to his loss of form during the inevitable Gallas discussion pre-game. It was a point I made only last week. [...]

Great article, I was doing a little browsing and happened to stumble upon your site. I was wondering if you knew it is displaying strangely in Netscape. I can see most of it fine but a lot of the pictures are out of place. Overall, it’s not really a big deal as hardly anybody using Netscape anymore but I’ve been a reader for a while now and I figured I’d let you know.
Cheers

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That?s a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.

1 from now…I told some of the dev’s that some of the other dev’s offer comments on QA defect tickets and that those were helpful to me. When I asked these other devs why they didn’t do the same thing they said “nobody ever studies those” and “I don’t have time for that” Uh, hello? Didn’t I just state I read them? It’s no happenstance that the devs who comment on their solutions have observably fewer defects in their computer code then the lot that guess there is no time for comments and no one reads them in any event.

I am 47 years old and in the last 2 years put on 15 pounds. Every time I would eat I would look 3 months pregnant! I am a 3rd degree black belt and a certified weight trainer so it’s not like I wasn’t getting any exercise. I’ve been on the diet for 2 weeks and I have already lost 10 pounds! I fit into a skirt that I haven’t fit into for 2 years. I feel great! I only had a headache the first day and I haven’t craved sweets. In fact, I sell Mary Kay and had my Holiday open house last Saturday and had two trays of cookies and candy kisses everywhere and didn’t eat any. I now rollerskate every morning outside(I’m in Florida) to help firm up. I hate to cook but the recipes are easy and great tasting. I no longer bloat after eating. In fact my stomach is almost flat! I would encourage anyone to give this diet a try!

I attended AA group meetings every last week and had a sponsor but I never finished my step exercise after treatment. At five years sober I lapsed for a short-term time. I call back the turning spot that brought me back to recovery. When I realized that I could no longer tell myself that “nobody would know” … because I had sufficient recovery in me that * I * was no longer NOBODY and *I* would know! I had gathered enough self worth in my years of sobriety that I could no longer think myself a NOBODY. THAT was important.

Combining natural substances such as cantharis and staphysagris, natural remedies are able to target the underlying causes of female puppy uti, restoring healthy pH levels and improving bladder function. And because they draw their healing power from nature, they can do so without exposing your pet to harsh side effects.

Great article, thank you. I am very interested in finding a diet that lowers my sugar intake. Thanks for posting this article. I’m decidedly frustrated with struggling to search out pertinent and intelligent commentary on this issue. Everybody today goes to the very far extremes to either drive home their viewpoint that either: everyone else in the planet is wrong, or two that everyone but them does not really understand the situation. Many thanks for your concise, pertinent insight.

I think a lot of people don’t understand real wealth. True wealth isn’t measured in dollars or how much gold you own. Gold is just a metal that can be melted or filed to dust, turned into wire, etc. It’s only valuable because people like it, but it’s not real wealth. Real wealth is what you own: cars, homes, shovels, hammers, soap, cigarettes, etc. How much of a chunk of metal you have in your safe or how many numbers your computer says you have in a bank is not real wealth. What you BUY with that gold or money is what real wealth is. If you have 100,000 dollars in your closet, that’s no different than a stack of printer paper, but if you trade those dollars for a yacht, then you have something real and practical. If you trust the dollar, save it. Hold it. If you trust gold, do the same. But if you trust neither, trade the dollars your employer pays you for bars of soap. They have value and are useful. THE BOTTOM LINE: Don’t owe anybody any money, and convert the dollars your boss pays you into something YOU control, like gold (if you want it), land, canned food, etc. Or take your chances on the dollar. It’s your choice.

having concluded that being fat (whether through our own ‘choosing’ or genetic misfortune, they don’t especially seem to care) is A Terrible Thing, no doubt they’ve their own ideas about what Should Be Done about and to us (because heaven knows, it’s not as though we’re going to be asked for our aforementioned, automatically discredited and unreliable input).

If these gentlemen are serious persons on this debt meeting, who desire to maintain some shred of personal credibility, they will both respectfully decline to participate in this charade. Obviously, the President wants cover for any action on taxes and spending, and naming a commission is the opposite of showing leadership. Mr. Obama continues to want to avoid responsibility for anything. One wonders why he wanted to be President at all. McConnell and Boehner should also respectfully decline to name members to the President’s commission. The President is not serious about budget or spending issues, and no commission will make any substantive recommendations that the President could not address now. Paul Ryan has already done this work.

Being on both sides having had an abortion and getting pregnant again and deciding to have the baby, has opened by eyes to how wrong it was for me to decide the fate of another person. It took me a very long time to forgive myself. I knew God forgave me and if he could forgive this terrible thing I did, then so must I. When I got pregnant the second time, it was because I could not live with what I did, that is not to say that I seriously thought of aborting again. Being single and on my own I could not see the future as a single mom. All the “HOW WILL” came into my mind, which almost led me to another abortion. The truth is that I cried out to God and asked him to help me. Well I really screamed out to God and very loud, by myself and made promises to him. Lord give me the strength to have this baby no matter what. No matter how hard it is on me, how people see me, just give the strength. God did help me raise my little girl, I was a single parent until she was 9 years old and then I did get married and ended up having another child. It was hard doing it on my own, very rough times, however I always pulled though. God will help you no joke no lie. Not to say there will be bumps and bolders, but it will be ok. The rush came Twenty-five years later which is now. My daugher who is now married had her baby, my grandaugher and she also had a little boy, my grandson. You cannot imagine how much these two little people mean to me. I thank God for them all the time. To think that if I had made a different choice back then, there would not be the two precious little people in my life right now. Can you imagine when that hit me? God may not reward us right away, it can be awhile, but he is a beautiful and wonderful God, he knows just the right time to open our eyes. Please forgive yourself if you have aborted and if you are pregnant now, please pray about it and God will give you the strength you need to have your baby and just look ahead and not behind you have to stand firm in your choice and trust God for the rest.

I hate the fact that all organized religions (including Islam and Christianity) brainwash people into blindly following a particular ideology. Where is the freedom to think? Why can’t the people be free to believe in God in their own personal way, according to the particular experiences of their life? Where is the spirituality if the believers just stick to a belief system without exercising their own judgment? Organized religions are just plain hogwash aimed at establishing political supremacy of one group of people over others. The only thing they promote is to make your thought process subservient to another (prophet, monk, mullah, priest, etc.). No one can find God through organized religion.
