While others lose their dignity, we must keep ours
WHATEVER happens today, let us not give the rabid mudslingers - whose true, twisted agenda is exposed and typified by this libelous bile - what they crave most: disciplinary meltdown at Old Trafford.

Great piece, We have to believe, trust and have confidence in the manager, and the team. And really show the media we are not going to be beaten in spirt

Arsenal fans should call for Wenger’s head. 3 years without honours. Which other big club allows their manager to get away with this? As I read the blogs, I am amazed at Arsenal fans tolerance. What they do not realise is that Wenger has taken the club as far as he can. Another type of leadership is required to break Arsenal into a truly big club. I hope Fergie will be sympathetic tonight, as he reportedly was, and not beat Arsenal by more than 2 goals. The kids cannot take another humiliation like the FA cup. And how they deserved more…no thanks to Wenger.

How wrong can one get. Four years ago we were told that we were going into a time of transition, money to be invested into the new stadium and the team having to be built from scratch. The worries were that we’d never be able to produce a team worthy of the new stadium.
Today, we are still fighting for a title, and played the best football in Europe. The economic side of it is brilliant, and we have the foundation of a team that can conquer Europe (and England) in the next five years. We now even have money to invest in players at the top level, and most of this is due to the wise handling of things by Wenger. If he were to leave, Arsenal would loose out to the Usanovs and the dirty grabbers of the football world. To me, any silverware in the world isn’t worth it.

Only losers accept empty trophy cabinet for 3 seasons. Wenger has cast a spell of contentment for being 4th best among fans. That is his greatest achievement.
13 April 2008 at 10:53 am
Only fools expect success all the time. I remember United fans making similar calls for Ferguson to go after we beat them to the FA Cup in 05.
And you’re obviously trolling. Give it a rest.
13 April 2008 at 10:56 am
“success all the time” ? Thats a good one. Unless I have been on another planet, I dont remember one for the last 3 years.
13 April 2008 at 10:58 am
ewan = donkey. Wenger deserves time. We’ve improved massively this year, and we’re heading in the right direction, and in the meantime playing some of the best football on the planet.
13 April 2008 at 11:04 am
ewan - clearly not a real arsenal supporter…..you don’t understand the history of our great club, you are no more than a glory hunter , & a childish one at that, who stamps his little feet and shouts, ‘ i want it now, no matter what it cost’s, get rid of the manager if he doesn’t give me what i want….’ you are pathetic.
would you rather be a liverpool supporter, in the semi’s but watching your being ripped apart, or chelsea, who have no pride & run at a £100 million loss each & every year.
i know what i would rather have, pride & a team with great potential & the best most profitable stadium in the world…we may have to be patient but that’s fine with me & most ‘real’ arsenal’ supporters. so fuck off & support chelsea…

13 April 2008 at 1:23 pm
Since the turn of the Millenium…Gala, Liverpool, Double, FA Cup, Invincible, FA Cup, Barca and Chelsea.
I dont care what anybody says, that is the sort of SUSTAINED success you can only DREAM about. Winning a trophy or reaching a final EVERY SINGLE YEAR? Honestly, I sometimes wish we werent so successful as it attracts the sort of fickle fan base no one wants. I really hate people calling for Arsene’s head…do they know anything about the history of Arsenal? Do they realise it has not always been like this? Are they not just Sky hyped cretins who should support Chelsea or Man U?
Repetitive one word answers on a post it please.

Perhaps you would have the class to get off this site now and maybe go back to that blue, red, or white scum portal you came from.
Cheers

Actually the trophy cabinet’s pretty full at Arsenal. True, not from the last few seasons but that’s why we’re not really going to complain too much. This club’s given me far more joy than heartache and it will continue that way.
Fair play to you United, you were the best team all season, there should be no arguments. You have in all likelihood the best player in the world in your team, something we used to boast about having.
I still believe it went pear shaped at St. Andrews, the horror of the Eduardo injury coupled with the shock loss of points, we lost a lot that day. Do you believe we would have had this poor run with Dudu in the side? I don’t, he was becoming that important.
I would also be fascinated to have seen what the reaction would have been had it been Ronaldo or Rooney injured in such a tackle and not Dudu. Don’t get me wrong, I would never wish that on either, I’m merely poiting out to the doomsayers and shit-stirrers there’s a fine line between winning and losing, especially in football.
Well done Man U, I hope your Portuguese pin up doesn’t decide he likes the weather in Spain better because if he does you will come back to the field, he is that important to you. Bring on next season!

Oh great, and now even the bloody radio is mocking me. “Simply Red” are playing “Money’s to tight to Mention”. Who knew that Mick Hucknell was a fucking prophet?

White ox, you speak the fucking truth, mate. What a cunt ronnie was for screaming like a pig when hoyte hacked him at the end. The greasy faced tosser wasn’t doing any step-overs until they were 2-1 up. Good footballer, but prize cunt.
