It’s not fair
JUST a very quick one to say: “Yes, I too feel utterly shit this morning.”
I’d understand the distribution of this season’s riches had we been half as bad as predicted at the start of the season.
As it is, a teaspoon of experience and cunning and a tablespoon of fortune have determined our lot.
The choice on May 21 is just utterly woeful:
a) Fergie goes two up in the Champions League stakes.
b) Ashley Cole wins the Champions Leaugue.
c) Liverpool’s theory that they are in any way good gains credence.

Agreed.
It all hurts. Try not to think about it.
30 April 2008 at 9:17 am
I’ll take option C. They’ve done it recently and if they do it again, its not a big deal. It just cements the point that they are a side only fit to challenge in the CL and never the league. Its a lot better than watching A** *ole with a trophy or the pack of glory, glory manure hunters increase in numbers to epic proportions. I can’t stand them as it is and the thought of either of them winning makes me want to play more GTA.
30 April 2008 at 9:22 am
Aaaaargh…
30 April 2008 at 9:25 am
It suck so much I’m not gonna watch nor find out what happens on that day.
Liverpool don’t deserve to be there so I want them out, I don’t ever wanna see Cashley win anything so I guess that leaves us with just one scenario… crap nonetheless, but the most acceptable one of the lot.
30 April 2008 at 9:26 am
I’ll take united tbh… chelski winning doesn’t bear thinking about and the thought of liverpool deserving 6 european trophies just makes me feel ill, especially when the gods connived to deny our rightful place in the semis. Like it or hate it united probably deserve it most - and maybe… just maybe… old red nose might think about quitting whilst he’s ahead and we can say goodbye to the old b*****d once and for all
30 April 2008 at 9:54 am
This is killing me. I don’t know what is making me feel worse, this or that I just got divorced.
30 April 2008 at 9:54 am
I won’t watch the final.
I just can’t bring myself to do so.
I feel a little sick just thinking about it.
I’m bitterly upset.
30 April 2008 at 10:00 am
cUntited splashed the cash for Hargreaves and did whatever it took to secure the footballing services of Carlos Tevez (but not his “economic right” of course). Without those two signings they would not be where they are now. So maybe they do deserve it.
I said last summer - whoever gets Tevez would finish the season with silverware, there’s still a chance I’ll be proved wrong I suppose. but we do need to sign 2 or 3 players of that type. if we are going to move on without relying on luck we need to be more dogged, dangerous and bloody minded.
Liverpool for the CL would be my preferred choice though but there’s no chance of that. Even if they get past Chelsea they’ll lie down and die in the final - again.
30 April 2008 at 10:01 am
Barca were useless last night, angers me that we didn’t make the semis. Our performances in both legs against the Scousers was far greater than Barca’s against the Mancs. ~Bah.
30 April 2008 at 10:02 am
I’ll take any of the others over B. Fuck Ashley Cole right in the brain hatch. He is a cunt.
30 April 2008 at 10:03 am
Out of all the possible choices, i think *thinks hard* i’d take… Fcuk, i dunno. Probably Utd to be honest.
I couldn’t handle Cuntley Cunt, Cunt Cuntpard, and Cunt Cunt running around with that trophy. Plus i have had a new found hatred for Liverpool for obvious reasons. Liverpool Football Club, The Filth of football.
30 April 2008 at 10:20 am
Don’t direct your hatred at Liverpool because of a referee’s ineptitude. Yes, by rights we probably should be playing tonight but that’s football. They are by far the most tolerable option as winners.
Plus it might keep Rafa in the job and that’s a bloody good thing when you consider he hasn’t got a clue about winning games in the league. Long may he reign.
30 April 2008 at 10:21 am
yeah i hate liverpool now, they stole our place with blatant cheating…let utd win it, play the best football outta the crap left…besides, we’re winning the premier league right?
30 April 2008 at 10:28 am
im feeling sick
30 April 2008 at 10:32 am
i need a hug
30 April 2008 at 10:41 am
I’ll rather have United win it. Not that I don’t hate the crappy mancunian cunts but I really really hate Chelsea buying success, and want the other managers to finish the season without a trophy and see if the press will vilify them like they have Wenger.
30 April 2008 at 10:45 am
well with all the anger, be real and admit you deserve it.
Experience counts, and all arsenal funs that need proof, got it when we couldnt hold a lead for 6 minutes.
act like united or chealsea in the transfer market and i will believe it was all due to lack.so far my reasons are clear and simple, a thin unexperienced squad that went as far as giving its supporters alot of hope and covering the reality they saw b4 the season began. now this reality is fresh in our minds and we should not make a mistake of believing a lie come next season
30 April 2008 at 10:46 am
Chelsea -
* I kind of feel sorry for Grant, this would stick two finger up to those fans who want him out. And even more to the media who same to hate him for the fact that he is not their darling Mourinho.
* Hopefully it will shut up said Mr Mourinho (I know it wouldn’t but one can hope) who seems to be everywhere these days reminding anyone who will listen that he is still “the special one”.
* Lastly Abromavich upon winning the title he so craved will have nothing else to win in football, get bored with the whole thing and leave Chelsea to concentrate on other pursuits
30 April 2008 at 10:51 am
Anonymous- Barcelona had so much experience and they couldn’t score against a United defence missing Vidic.
I mean, why do people always give examples to buttress one point and ignore other examples.
This season- Milan were experienced, Madrid, Barcelona, and they’re out of it.
The same team that’s too inexperienced to get into the semi-finals this year got into the final 2 years ago. Tell me how that works.
30 April 2008 at 10:52 am
imagine united winning the double. just imagine……………………………………………………..i want to kil myself
30 April 2008 at 11:13 am
:(
30 April 2008 at 11:22 am
well, the carnage that will occur between whatever teams, the local fans and the russian police will probably ensure we won’t have to concern ourselves with the CL for the next few years.

Classic.
30 April 2008 at 11:40 am
All scenarios are awaful.
Although, I’m slightly swaying toward Chelsea.
The fact of the matter is, they’ve bought their success so it’s not like they really would have won it. It’s like winning a computer game with the cheat on. You’re happy for a bit but deep down you know you’ve achieved nothing really. Also, the dirty russian might get bored after winning the champions league and walk away. I’d happily see them win it just so they have something to cling onto when they’re at Rochdale in a few years.
Liverpool are so undeserving it’s not even funny. Usually they are they are the lesser of three evils but I watched the second leg of the quarters with a scouser who acted like a total cunt when they won so I kind of want to have it rammed down his throat. Him and all the texts I got from their fans afterwards. Cheating cunts!
I hate Man Utd!
30 April 2008 at 11:46 am
The only consolation for me is that I bought two tickets to the final from UEFA’s site for £140 each, and I’ll now be able to screw thousands out of the Manc, Scouse or Chav scum that can pay me the most! And god, will I screw them….
30 April 2008 at 11:55 am
Joe,
Thats cool just make sure you use protection
30 April 2008 at 12:31 pm
Arsefan…do you live in London? Imagine the parade, with cuntley cunt on the open top bus and all the media coverage. Surely that changes your mind in an instant?!
30 April 2008 at 12:31 pm
Oh God what a nightmarish season. Three of the teams I hate the most are about to win the Champions League. I can’t imagine those patent leather fake-ass m-fers of Fulham winning the league! That will be much too much this season.
30 April 2008 at 12:54 pm
Liverpool for me hands down. They are already way ahead of us in Euro Cups. Imagine Chelski at the grove next year taunting us about never winning it? No way! Manc Scum- couldn’t really tolerate those muppets banging on about it either. So Liverpool for me- fans are ok but a bit dillusional about their greatness.
30 April 2008 at 1:56 pm
Liverpool in the CL. At least they aren’t complete c*nts. Then we have to hope CSKA Chelski in the league pip the Mancs. Then we can continue to laugh at the fact that they are merely a mid-sized club who’ve bought success with Russian Mob money and will never be as big as The Arsenal no matter how many titles they buy. And Old Red Nose can go home and cry in his beer. That’s my best case scenario, at any rate.
30 April 2008 at 2:08 pm
No, you have it all wrong. The great thing is that at least two of these sets of fans will feel as miserable as we do, which is excellent
30 April 2008 at 2:11 pm
Not necessarily - if United and Chelsea carve up the two cups they will each be happier than us…
30 April 2008 at 2:23 pm
You can just picture Ashley Coles face cant you. He will laugh, oh how he will laugh
30 April 2008 at 2:37 pm
Man U for the double, for two reasons:
1. that way I can distill my hatred and focus it on one team, rather than spreading it around thinly. Hatred doesn’t grow on trees, you know.
2. I enjoy hating Man U much more than hating Chelsea. Chelsea hate is a kind of sickening, tiring and depressing form of frustrated loathing, whereas Man U hate is closer to a kind of violent rage…
30 April 2008 at 2:39 pm
ignatz,
You forgot point No.3.
3. Wenger likes willys

Dude your name is rubbish
30 April 2008 at 2:54 pm
Yeah - sorry about that. Its the headline of my danish arsenal blog, and it automatically appeared in the comments section here. Just felt so depressed about yesterday i linked to goodplaya - he says it all.
30 April 2008 at 2:59 pm
By the way, if any of you by chance speak danish - follow the link from #36 and have a look. cheers
30 April 2008 at 3:59 pm
noppen,
Apology not accepted. I am deeply hurt by you forcing me to read Danish whilst skiving at work. Dont worry though, i’ve worked out a way for you to regain my trust. I would like you to come over to my house at 8 o’clock sharp where I shall greet you with some fine wine. Then I’m going to sit down in my favourite chair and watch ‘Total Recall’ starring Arnold Schwarzeneger whilst you tickle my nuts with a hairbrush of your choice. Then, and only then, will I consider you one of my homeboys again.
So i’ll see you tonight. If you’re late I shall smack you
30 April 2008 at 4:53 pm
Sounds a lot more fun then chelsea-pool, and Arnold will remind me so much of Michael Ballack that I wont even notice the difference between football and a great movie. Laters.
30 April 2008 at 6:12 pm
i would rather have chelsea win the double. for one reason they’ll be so much weaker next season if people like drogba and lampard leave to follow jose mourinho. so i don’t mind having them win everything now and then go on for the next 5 seasons without anything!
the thought of man utd winning the doubles or even a single trophy makes me sick! i cannot stand how the united fans are like these days. cocky bunch of conceited people. absolutely sick! they deserved that 2-1 defeat against chelsea, it’ll do well to shut them up for now. and they totally didn’t deserve to win last night! barcelona were a thousand times better than them. they won because of a fluke scholes goal! i bet he was aimlessly shooting and it went in. FLUKE!
30 April 2008 at 11:52 pm
Because Scholes has never scored crackers from outside the area before has he grumpyone?
Go ahead and be bitter about Barca being hard done by and the Mancs a bit lucky but don’t call good strikes by good players flukes, it doesn’t do much for you credibility.
Ugggh… Worst… Champions… League… Final… Ever…
1 May 2008 at 12:23 pm
Grumpyone -
U obviously started following football on Monday or maybe Sunday morning
Did Barca deserve to win, why?
How many 1 on 1 attempts did they have? They had 4 strikers on the pitch, there was no goal mouth clearances saving Utd’s Bacon- As an obvious Arsenal fan U of all people should know that possession entitles u to nothing more than a post game statistic
Did Utd defend deep & play to their strengths - yes
Without Rooney & Vidic they were glaringly weak up front & at the back although Wes Brown&Ferdinand was immense.
Utd played defensively yes Why- because they had to. Otherwise they’d've had to rely on Carrick & Park + ageing Scholes to go head to head wit Messi Xavi Deco etc & I think we’ll all agree There’s only gonna be one winnner from that competition & its not the £18 million of complete & utter Shit that came from Spurs.
Scholes - one of the all time greats ! ! ! ! !
One of the out & out best strikers of a ball the Premiership&England has ever seen so quit spouting rubbish
1 May 2008 at 12:29 pm
Come on Arsenal boys get behind Man Utd -
If Chelsea win they’ll only go from strength to strength buyin every player they want -
A nice defeat in RUSSIA for them might get rid of abramovich & his dollars then we can all get back to normal, laughing at Liverpool spouting History lessons bout when they used to be good & constantly telling us how many league titles they won 2 decades ago
Arsenal waiting to pounce on Man Utd slip ups for the league good ding dong battles-
NORMALITY IS GOOD
1 May 2008 at 12:31 pm
that sly ginger-bollocked midget can hit a long-range shot, the little ginger nut. Which is the lesser of two evils, now? I’d sooner take a dump on Chavski, but seeing as the british media loves to suck the cock of all things Man U, I’m really in a hole.
1 May 2008 at 3:27 pm
Any Arsenal Fan who wants that greedy c**t Cashley and his Chav”s to win the Cl is not a real Gooner.
DO YOU WANT THE CHAV”S TO BE THE FIRST LONDON WINNERS OF THE CL WITH CASHLEY LAUGHING AT US.ARSENAL SHOULD BE THE FIRST WINNERS TO COME FROM LONDON.WE ARE LONDON”S TEAM COME ON UTD
1 May 2008 at 11:36 pm
By gawd it will hurt but I have a modicum of interest in this CL final. Chelsea are just pure scum and at least I have a grudging respect for Man U (I just wish their manager wasn’t such a childish knob at times, Wenger’s no saint and is a bad loser but Slur Alex can be a downright hypocritical prick too).
And no, I could not tolerate Ashley cole winning a Champions League medal after everything that’s happened. So Mr. Clowns, here’s to Ronaldo scoring in a big game. He has that Henry-esque ability to become more anonymous than might be hoped in the big ones (Last two Champions League Semi Finals, FA Cup Finals and World Cup no?)
By the way, I’m taking the piss.
2 May 2008 at 9:32 am
LOL
U boys really got it bad with Cashley -
4 May 2008 at 12:29 pm
For good reason, for very good reason.
